Real Estate (Senior) Vice President / Senior Associate; London, United Kingdom 

 

The National Pension Service (NPS) is a public pension fund authorised to manage the funds collected under the National Pension Act of Korea (1988). Since its inception, the NPS has become the world¡¯s third largest pension fund with AUM of USD 462 billion 2016 year end. 

 

To manage increasing demand for overseas investments, the NPS opened offices in New York, London and Singapore in 2011, 2012 and 2015 respectively. Through a continued drive to expand overseas asset allocation, enhance local market knowledge, and boost investment capacity in the region, the NPS is actively seeking to recruit a (Senior) Vice President / Senior Associate level investment professional to its real estate investment team in London. 

 

Description 

 

The position will cover real estate acquisitions and asset management in Europe and will be asked to support NPS Global Real Estate Team headquartered in Korea.  

Specific responsibilities will include: 

 

-      Market research and analysis; 

-      Screening new investment opportunities 

-      Assist in due diligence and asset management reports  

-      Asset management of existing portfolio 

 

Requirements/Qualifications 

 

No visa sponsorship is available for this position.  

-      4 or more years of professional experience in Real Estate 

-      An understanding of real estate portfolio management, characteristics of the transactions and corresponding strategies; 

-      Extensive knowledge of financial modelling and valuation techniques in a professional capacity; 

-      Strong communication skills paired with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team
